| Record Description | Old coppiced crab apple tree growing on low cliff on the west bank of Sleigill Beck. This crab apple would have provided the kitchens of Storthwaite Hall with crab apple jelly and also apple wood for curing hams when all Swaledale farms were self sufficient. |
